

JMFEST (J-MUSIC FESTIVAL) is a live music and talent showcase event organized by J-rock North Promotions Inc. taking place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It showcases up and coming artists, as well as popular musicians, from Japan and North America. Its aim is to promote a music exchange between Japan and Canada through live concerts and presentations.

Established in 2005, J-rock North Promotions Inc. (JNP) is a booking, event planning and promotions company based in Toronto Ontario, Canada. We represent several events and anime conventions across Canada as organizers to Japanese/North American talent, Seiyuu and musical guests. MADKID is a Japanese boy group consisting of 2 rappers (LIN and YUKI) and 3 vocalists (YOU-TA, SHIN, KAZUKI) who formed in 2014 and made their major debut in 2018.
In 2019, the group released their single “RISE” for the TV anime series “The Rising of the Shield Hero”. The song quickly became a hit all over the world. They were later able to release their songs “FAITH”and “Bring Back”, as openings for the second season of the series.In January 2023, MADKID released “PARANOID” as the theme song for the Netflix TV anime series “Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre”. In October of the same year, they released their single “SIN”, which became the opening theme song for Season 3 of “The Rising of the Shield Hero”. In December of that year, they released their single “FLY” as the opening theme for the TV anime series “Sasaki and Peeps”, which was released in January 2024.In April 2024, the group released the single “Futatsu no Kotoba”, as the opening theme for the TV anime series “TADAIMA, OKAERI”. The following month, the group made their debut performance in Canada at Anime North, in Toronto. In October of this year, they released their single “Chaser”, as the opening theme for the TV anime series “Haigakura”.In January-February 2025, the group held their first North American tour in collaboration with anime song-singer NANO. The tour was visiting 11 cities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.In October 2025, they will release “Mad Pulse” as the theme song for the TV anime series “DIGIMON BEATBREAK”.With their astonishing rap work and powerful vocals, they make for a one-of-a-kind Performance.MADKID will be preforming and appearing for the first time in Québec City, Québec Canada at Nadeshicon 2026.
